We are looking for an experienced caregiver for a 93-year-old senior lady living in central Hannover. The senior requires comprehensive support in daily life, including personal hygiene, dressing, and transfers. Indoors, she uses a rollator; for outdoor activities, a wheelchair is needed. The living environment is barrier-free with an elevator.

The senior has orientation and short-term memory problems, as well as speech and hearing difficulties (hearing aids are present). Assistance with preparing easily digestible meals, preferably scrambled eggs or omelets, is required. There are no fixed meal times; meals are taken as needed. During the day, she often rests and watches TV, and her daily rhythm is irregular.

Caregiver duties also include household management (laundry, vacuuming, cooking, cleaning) and shopping. The caregiver will have her own room with internet access. Shopping facilities are within a 10-minute walk.

The assignment starts on October 21, 2026, and is for an indefinite period. Occasional night duties are required.

Requirements

  • Communicative German language skills
  • Experience in senior care
  • Empathy, patience, and responsibility
  • Willingness to assist with transfers and mobility
  • Ability to prepare light meals
