Caregiver for Mobile Senior Lady – Burbach

We are looking for an experienced caregiver for a senior lady living in a small town in Germany. The client, after a recent injury, is undergoing rehabilitation and needs support in daily functioning to regain full mobility.

The senior uses a wheelchair, and the goal is her mobilization to use a rollator. Assistance with transfers (getting up, stabilizing, supporting – no lifting), personal hygiene (washing, dressing, showering with a shower chair), and toilet visits is required. The client has mild short-term memory problems but is calm and has no tendency to wander. Medication monitoring and ensuring adequate hydration are also important.

The caregiver will be responsible for household management: cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. A cat lives in the house and also needs care. A separate room with internet access is provided for the caregiver. Shopping facilities are approximately 500 meters away.

The assignment starts on October 28, 2026. We are looking for a person with good German language skills, willing to work at night (1-2 times per night, mainly for toilet visits). This is a calm assignment with a fixed daily routine, including an afternoon rest period.
