Caregiver for Senior in Oldenburg, Germany

We are looking for an experienced caregiver for an elderly gentleman in Oldenburg, starting on October 29, 2026. The initial assignment is for 4 weeks, with the possibility of long-term or indefinite cooperation if the collaboration is good.

The care recipient is an 81-year-old, friendly, and cheerful senior who is bedridden. He requires full assistance with hygiene and dressing, as well as support with transfers to a wheelchair using a lift (not daily). Due to swallowing difficulties, meals must be pureed. Monitoring incontinence materials and ensuring adequate fluid intake are key tasks.

Support is also needed for the senior's wife, who lives in the same household. The family values a warm and family-like atmosphere, and the caregiver is welcome to participate in shared meals and family life. Should the wife go on vacation, the caregiver would temporarily be alone with the care recipient.

For the caregiver, spacious accommodation with a choice of three rooms is available. A bicycle is provided, the residential area is quiet and well-connected – a bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, and shopping facilities are within walking distance.
