Caregiver for a senior lady in Mannheim
We are looking for an experienced caregiver for a senior lady in Mannheim. The client, who uses a wheelchair, requires support with daily activities. She suffers from advanced memory problems, which manifest as short-term memory impairment and temporal disorientation.
The caregiver's duties will include assistance with transfers (moving from bed, sofa, chair to wheelchair), full support with personal hygiene and dressing, and help with toileting (reminders, assistance with pulling up trousers). Providing companionship and support in daily life is also important.
The caregiver will also be responsible for household chores such as laundry, vacuuming, cooking, and cleaning. The client's family handles groceries. A nursing service visits three times a day. A separate room with internet access is available for the caregiver.
The assignment starts on October 14, 2026. We are looking for a patient, attentive, and empathetic person who can provide warm and professional care.
Requirements
- Good German language skills.
- Experience in senior care, especially with limited mobility and memory problems.
- Patience, empathy, and attentiveness.
- Willingness to smoke only outside the residence (if applicable).
