We are looking for an empathetic caregiver for a senior lady in the charming small town of Melsungen. The care recipient uses a wheelchair and requires full assistance with transfers, including lifting or using a lifter. Help is also needed with daily personal hygiene, showering (with a shower chair), and dressing.
The senior lady lives with her mentally and physically fit husband. Although there is no advanced dementia, she experiences mild challenges with orientation and short-term memory. Regular therapies (physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy) during the week provide free time for the caregiver.
Caregiver duties also include household chores (laundry, vacuuming, cooking, cleaning – occasionally) and shopping. Shopping facilities are within walking distance, and the city center is 1.4 km away.
The caregiver will have her own room on the lower floor with access to a kitchen and bathroom. The assignment starts on October 22, 2026.
